Germany is now the poster child for a successful turn around in the coronavirus pandemic. The number of new cases rose to 945, under 1,000 according to the Robert Koch Institute for infectious diseases. The total number of 161,703 cases with fatalities of 6,575 – still shockingly high numbers. In related news, Singapore has announced that it was considering easing some of the lockdown regulations, as the recent spike in new cases is starting to fade. Keep in mind that the new cases were mostly in crowded dormitories which house migrant workers.
