More than half of the 530 patients have been under the age of 25, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, with only 17% being over the age of 35.
A Missouri man died of vaping-related lung disease according to health officials, this brings the death toll to eight with hundreds hospitalized. In the official press release in St. Louis from Mercy Hospital this man in his 40s suffered from lack of gas exchange in the lungs with led to cardiac arrest and died from acute respiratory distress – in short vaping killed him. Vaping has been under close watch from medical associations around the globe as the view is that it is safe – of course this view will be challenged in court.
